Bard approaches the practice of family law with empathy and steadfast
advocacy. Prior to joining Burrison Hudani Doris LLP, he worked at a
litigation-focused family law firm in Downtown Toronto where he gained
valuable experience in civil procedure and the court room. He also
previously worked at a boutique family law firm specializing in complex
financial and property issues.
During law school, Bard volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada researching cross-jurisdictional legal issues and trained in trauma-informed lawyering. Bard is an alumnus of the University of Ottawa’s indigenous law stream program.
Called to the Ontario bar in 2020, Bard joined Burrison Hudani Doris LLP in 2021. He is an active member of the Ontario Bar Association, Start Proud, and the Advocates Society. Bard is conversational in Mandarin and has functional fluency in Cantonese.
