A founding partner of Burrison Hudani Doris LLP, Christopher has
extensive experience in matrimonial disputes involving complex
financial, support and parenting issues. He routinely successfully
mediates and arbitrates these disputes in addition to appearing before
all levels of the Ontario Courts.
Christopher’s professional memberships include the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of British Columbia and has considerable experience in multi-jurisdictional and extra-provincial matters, including disputes under the Interjurisdictional Support Orders Act. His experience also includes effectively enforcing child and spousal support arrears when support recipients choose to withdraw from the Family Responsibility Office.
Christopher routinely negotiates and prepares separation agreements, marriage agreements and cohabitation agreements. He works regularly with married and common law couples and has a special interest in the resolution of property and support issues, with an emphasis on minimizing tax consequences of asset transfers between spouses following a relationship breakdown.
Christopher is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School and Simon Fraser University. He has appeared in the provincial, superior and appeal courts in Ontario and British Columbia.
